Claire and Alison are friends who met at a piano course. We wanted to have the opportunity to attend more courses, so in 2017 we decided to run our own course, with all our favourite ideas from the other courses that we have enjoyed. Pianissimi was such a success that we are now able to run two courses per year. This three-day intensive piano course is for advanced-level adult pianists (Grade 7 to post-diploma). The aim of the course is to meet other pianists, receive excellent tuition and be immersed in music and we invite you to indulge your passion for the piano in a relaxed and supportive environment. We offer one-to-one lessons, masterclasses and performances, along with the camaraderie that is a hallmark of our courses.
In June, Pianissimi will be held at the Royal Hospital School at Holbrook in Suffolk, on a beautiful site overlooking the River Orwell. The school has a state-of-the-art music block, including a 200-seat recital theatre.
In October, Pianissimi will be held at Framlingham College in Suffolk, on an stunning site overlooking Framlingham Castle.
